The History of Takeda Printing
January 1924 Founded as "Takeda Shoten Printing Department" in Nagoya.
November 1946 Takeda Seihan Printing Co., Ltd. established (capitalized at 180,000 yen).
August 1950 Merged with Takeda Printing Unlimited Partnership to achieve a complete system of printing processes, and company name changed to Takeda Printing Co., Ltd. (capitalized at 500,000 yen).
October 1951

Photoengraving equipment installed and multicolor-process platemaking launched.

October 1964 Takeda Printing Co., Ltd. (Tokyo) established in Nakano-ku, Tokyo, as sales center for Tokyo (capitalized at 20 million yen).

November 1967

To augment planning operations, Koofuu Planning Co., Ltd. established in Naka-ku, Nagoya, through spin-off of Head Office planning elements (capitalized at 10 million yen; presently a consolidated subsidiary).

April 1986 Osaka Sales Office opened in Higashi-ku, Osaka.
April 1987

As a first step into nonpaper printing operations, Fine Process Section (now elevated to Department) established within the Head Office Platemaking Department, and high-precision platemaking system established.

March 1991 Takeover of Takeda Printing Co., Ltd. (Tokyo).
April 1992 Takeover of (former) Kobundo Co., Ltd., with sales elements of (former) Kobundo Co., Ltd. ceded to (new) Kobundo Co., Ltd. (formerly Kobundo Machine Sales Co.; presently a consolidated subsidiary).
February 1993 Studio Ace1 established in Jimokuji-cho, Ama-gun, Aichi Prefecture.
January 1996 Stock listed in Second Section of the Nagoya Stock Exchange.
April 1997

Media Software Department formed in the Head Office to establish a single-source, multi-use system.

May 1997

Takatsuji Plant completed in Showa-ku, Nagoya

September 1998

Wedge.Co., Ltd. established in Naka-ku, Nagoya, to plan and draft sales-promotion activities (capitalized at 38 million yen; presently a consolidated subsidiary).

November 1999

ISO 9001 certification acquired by Chubu Operations.

September 2000

Kamitani Inc. (Yao, Osaka Prefecture; capitalized at 60 million yen) made a subsidiary through acquisition of stock.

December 2000

ISO 9002 certification acquired by Kanto Operations.
ISO 14001 certification acquired by Chubu Operations.

March 2002

Semiconductor-use metal-mask laser equipment installed at Chubu Operations.

April 2003 Nichiei Printing Co., Ltd.(Ibaraki, Osaka Prefecture; capitalized at 10 million yen) made a subsidiary of stock.
August 2003 Stream Co., Ltd. made a subsidiary through acquisition.
October 2003 Shanghai Takeda Printing Co., Ltd. established in China.
May 2004 To expand semiconductor-related elements (Fine Process Department), Logistics Center relocated and Techno Center launched.
July 2005 Dalian Guanghua Software and Technology Co., Ltd. established in China.
November 2005 Authorized to use the "Privacy Mark" service mark.
December 2006 Kanto Operations new company building completion.
April 2007 Establishing the Kansai Sales Division.
